If you are a young parent, single, socially or geographically isolated, have a low income or limited formal education, there are several parenting education and support programs available to you in Ontario.
If you are a young parent who is receiving Ontario Works, the Learning, Earning and Parenting (LEAP) program can help you finish high school, improve your parenting skills, and prepare you for or help you with finding work so that you can support yourself and your family. You can also check out Ontario 211 either through their website or by calling to get information and and search for all kinds of services from employment assistance, to education program, to financial and housing programs and more.
